
Second Clinical Practicum
This practicum is designed to help you transition from theory to real clinical experience. You will learn how to open and prepare the clinic, complete client intakes, operate colon hydrotherapy equipment safely, and perform supervised sessions. It is an essential step in developing confidence, professionalism, and practical skill.
What You Will Learn
Clinic Opening and Preparation: Start each day by preparing the clinic environment, focusing on cleanliness, organisation, and a welcoming atmosphere that supports client comfort and trust.
Client Intakes: Learn how to greet clients, gather medical history, understand their goals, and identify basic contraindications to ensure sessions are both safe and personalised.
Equipment Operation: Gain practical experience working with colon hydrotherapy machines. You will learn setup, calibration, safety checks, and how to operate the equipment with confidence.
Supervised Colonic Sessions: Under the guidance of experienced practitioners, you will perform your first colonics. You will practice creating a safe, comfortable experience and gain exposure to a variety of client presentations. This practicum includes the opportunity to observe and work with more than 20 clients.
