Ela Gold (DOHSc, Dip-Ayu, Dip-Acu, HCHt)
Founder, Senior Educator & Practitioner
Ela Gold has worked in natural and integrative health for more than 40 years.
Her background spans clinical practice, research, colon hydrotherapy, Ayurveda, acupuncture, detoxification, and digestive restoration. Her studies and professional training have taken her across Germany, India, Korea, Brazil, and China, integrating traditional medical systems with scientific inquiry.
As founder of both Healthy Gut Academy and Vitalis Health Colon Wellbeing Clinic, Ela bridges education and clinical application.
Her philosophy is simple:
“The only healer that can heal you is YOU.”
Through the Academy, she shares decades of hands-on experience, clinical insight, and practical wisdom with the next generation of practitioners and health-conscious individuals.

How Our Courses Are Delivered
Online Theory Learning
Flexible, self-paced modules allow students to study from anywhere while balancing work, family, and personal commitments.
Practical Training
Hands-on training is delivered in a small-group clinical setting (up to four students), with real client interaction and supervised guidance.

Healthy Gut Academy is an approved training provider through:
International Institute for Complementary Therapists
Graduates of the Professional Certificate in Holistic Colon Hydrotherapy may apply for IICT membership and insurance eligibility.

Note: There is currently no nationally recognized colon hydrotherapy qualification under the Australian Qualification Framework. We are working to get our course recognized as a “Diploma in Holistic Colon Hydrotherapy.”
