What Is Holistic Colon Hydrotherapy Training
Holistic colon hydrotherapy looks at the whole person, not just the treatment. A practitioner trained this way works with the physical, emotional, and spiritual side of each client, backed by a solid understanding of naturopathic principles and gut health. This means our graduates can confidently guide clients through health, lifestyle, and nutritional changes alongside their treatments.
Our coursework is thorough, but hands-on practice matters just as much. You’ll train with real clients in a real clinic, building the contact hours and confidence to become not just competent, but genuinely skilled.
Prep Course – Foundational Medical Sciences for Colon Hydrotherapy Practitioners
If you don’t already hold a Bachelor-level health qualification, you’ll complete the Prep Course first: Anatomy and Physiology, Pathology and Pharmacology, and Communication, 190 hours in total. This builds the foundation you need to study colon hydrotherapy safely.
Basic Level – Colonic Technician – Clinical Colon Hydrotherapy Certification
Your first hands-on step into colon hydrotherapy. Learn the core skills, safety protocols, and clinic management knowledge to perform treatments and run a practice confidently.
Level 1 – Colon Hydrotherapist – Functional Gut Practitioner Certification
Builds on the Basic Level with a more holistic, client-focused approach. Covers treatment regimes, nutrition, detoxing, and microbiome health, so you’re not just performing treatments but supporting real change.
Level 2 – Holistic Colon Hydrotherapist – Advanced Holistic Practitioner Certification
Advanced clinical integration, combining advanced colon hydrotherapy practices like medicated enemas and implants with clinical support treatments, iridology and mind-body practices. For practitioners ready to work with clients on a much deeper level.
Gold Standard – Complete Course
Our most comprehensive program, taking you from the start through to a fully qualified holistic colon hydrotherapist. All levels of theory and clinical practice in one course. For people who know that they want to run their own successful clinic.
Graduates are recognized by IICT, qualifying for insurance and professional association membership.

Can anybody become a CHT?
In theory, yes. What matters most is genuine interest and a willingness to take in a fair amount of information. The course itself is manageable, but thorough.
Can I do this while working full or part time?
Many of our students train while working part time or caring for school-aged kids. How fast you move through it depends on your own pace and availability.
Is there any recognition of prior learning?
Yes. See our recognition of prior learning (RPL) policy and fill out the RPL form. RPL credit doesn’t give you a financial discount but exempts you from the exam for that module.
Do I get lifetime access to the online course?
No. Like adult learning programs at university or TAFE, access runs for a set period to keep you engaged and on track to finish.
